Losing part of her home to a devastating fire in Los Angeles has forced Mandy Moore, her husband Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children to temporarily move into the home of Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma.
Through a post on Instagram, Moore revealed that they managed to evacuate their Altadena home before the fire spread severely. While their main house is still standing, it is no longer habitable, and areas like the music studio, garage, and guest house were completely destroyed.
“Many people in our lives have lost everything,” Mandy shared. Even her brother-in-law, Griffin Goldsmith, and his pregnant wife were victims of this disaster.
In another post, Griffin praised the generosity of Duff and Koma, who not only provided them with shelter but also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help them rebuild their lives.
“This has been a deeply traumatic experience, but the support and love we’ve received have been incredible,” Griffin said.
Duff and Koma have also taken the initiative to assist Griffin and Mandy’s families since the disaster began.
“They’ve done the most noble thing for fellow humans,” Griffin added.
Griffin also described Duff and Koma as some of the kindest and most selfless people he has ever known. – BOOM!
