After staying silent for a long time, actor and comedian, Joey Daud finally shared a shocking story that he was once a victim of black magic while participating in a popular comedy show.
Joey, whose real name is Zulkifli Daud, 51, recounted the experience in a recent podcast session. He said the incident happened suddenly when he was almost done with a stage performance.

“I still remember, the judges had given high scores.
But a minute before the end, my ears suddenly started ringing, and I couldn’t hear anything.
My body was sweating, but I tried to smile as usual so people wouldn’t know I was under attack,” he said.
Joey added that right after stepping off the stage, he nearly collapsed and was fortunately saved by his fellow performer, Khir Rahman.
“After drinking water, the left side of my body went completely limp, I couldn’t move at all,” he added.
Joey then sought hospital treatment and consulted three ustazs as an alternative.
Two of them admitted they couldn’t treat him, until an ustaz in Ipoh confirmed that something was ‘residing’ within him.
“The ustaz didn’t have a TV at home, but he knew I was in a competition.
He asked me to recite zikir frequently.
He said he knew who did it, but I didn’t allow him to tell me.
He advised, don’t take on God’s role,” Joey recounted.
Joey also claimed he could guess the individual involved after noticing the reaction of one participant during a rehearsal.

“I invited him to join the rehearsal, but he immediately brushed my hand away.
He said it felt hot.
From that, I suspected it might be him, or his ‘guardian’ who did it,” he added.
Despite experiencing extraordinary pain, Joey remained professional and continued with the competition.
It is understood that Joey participated in the show in 2020 as part of the group J-Born alongside Khir Rahman and Vicha. – BOOM!
