Dwayne Johnson revealed that he once “offered himself” to star alongside Emily Blunt in The Devil Wears Prada 2 while they were filming The Smashing Machine.
Johnson shared the story during an interview on Entertainment Weekly’s Awardist podcast, where he appeared together with Blunt.
However, Emily responded playfully.
“He’s already tried,” she said with a hint of sarcasm.
Emily then joked that Johnson’s character would be someone who walks impressively in high heels. Johnson continued the banter, quipping: “Size 15 heels.”
Emily added that Lady Gaga would be taking on a small role in the upcoming sequel, joking that it was the role Johnson actually wanted.
When pressed for more details about her own role in the sequel to the 2006 hit film, Emily said she was bound by confidentiality and could not reveal anything yet.
“You’re trying to tempt me into talking about the movie, but I can’t reveal anything,” she said. –Boom!
