NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo are set to begin their mandatory military service on December 8.
SM Entertainment confirmed the news, stating that both idols will officially enlist on the same day.
“Doyoung will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the ROK Army on December 8 KST. Jungwoo, who recently received his acceptance into the ROK Army, will also begin his service on the same date,” the agency announced.
SM Entertainment also urged fans not to gather or cause disturbances at the enlistment site to ensure safety and a smooth process.
Before their enlistment, Doyoung and Jungwoo had been actively participating in NCT’s musical activities, including album promotions and global concert tours.
Fans now anticipate a temporary break for both talented artists before their eventual return to the entertainment scene.
