Famous Indonesian singer and actress, Dewi Sandra expressed her disappointment after failing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year.
Through a post on her personal Instagram, Dewi uploaded an image of the number 3 against a white background as a symbol of her disappointment.
“It’s not about what I want, it never was,” she wrote.
It’s understood that the failure stemmed from the Saudi Arabian government’s decision not to issue furoda visas for Indonesian pilgrims, a special visa that allows individuals to perform Hajj without waiting years in a queue.
Dewi Sandra didn’t deny that her heart was broken for not being able to perform Hajj as planned, but she remained accepting of God’s will.
“It will always be about what Allah wants and Allah’s destiny is always the best,” she added.

Although not physically present in the Holy Land, Dewi Sandra stated that she is still there spiritually through prayers and deep longing.
At the same time, she also offered prayers to be blessed with the opportunity to perform Hajj in 2026.
For the record, Dewi Sandra performed the Hajj in 2019, and that experience made her yearn even more to return to the Holy Land.
Besides Dewi, several other Indonesian celebrities faced the same fate, including Wendi Cagur and his wife, as well as Ruben Onsu. – BOOM!
