Singer Demi Lovato’s ex-fiancé, Max Ehrich, has been admitted to a mental health facility in Southeast Florida, USA, after fans reported a series of provocative social media posts to the police.

According to reports, officers rushed to Max’s parents’ home following an emergency call. Upon arrival, they determined that he required further evaluation. He was subsequently transported by ambulance to a medical facility, where he will remain under psychiatric observation for 72 hours for assessment of his mental health.

Citing TMZ, Max had reportedly checked into a rehabilitation center last month following an arrest related to a domestic violence incident. Police records indicate that he allegedly acted aggressively toward his mother while abusing nitrous oxide gas.

Authorities stated that Max’s mother claimed he became violent during an argument over a phone, triggered by the substance abuse.
