Instead, the actor, who portrayed Agent 007 in five films, praises to the legendary producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who are now stepping back from the creative control of the franchise.
Speaking to Variety, Daniel expressed his deep respect and affection for the duo who have long steered the James Bond series.

“My respect, admiration, and love for Barbara and Michael remain intact and undiminished. I hope Michael enjoys a long and peaceful retirement, and whatever Barbara does next, I’m sure it will be extraordinary. I also hope to be a part of it,” he said.
