Renowned singer and former 2NE1 member Park Bom has reportedly filed a lawsuit against her former agency, YG Entertainment, alleging unpaid earnings estimated at USD47.5 trillion.
According to Park Bom, YG Entertainment withheld her payments for an extended period without a clear reason. She is now demanding a full investigation into the matter.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Park Bom claimed that income from her music activities, performances, endorsements, and songwriting had not been fully paid.
“I am asking for justice to be served,” she wrote.
Following her post, D-Nation Entertainment, Park Bom’s current agency, issued an apology for the confusion caused by her social media statement.
“Park Bom is currently in an emotionally unstable state and needs rest and treatment to recover fully,” D-Nation clarified.
The agency also urged the media and fans to avoid spreading unverified information in order to protect the singer’s well-being.
