The request by Sia’s ex-husband, Daniel Bernad, to obtain full custody of their son, Somersault Wonder Bernad, has been rejected by the court, TMZ reported.
According to court documents obtained by the portal, the judge ruled that most of the allegations presented by Bernad were old issues and had already been known since August, when both parties agreed to a temporary physical custody arrangement.

The decision grants Sia primary custody of their child, while Daniel is only allowed limited and supervised visitation.
Earlier, Bernad claimed that Sia posed an immediate and serious threat to their child. However, the Unstoppable singer asserted that she has been free from substance use for the past six months.

Meanwhile, Bernad is reportedly under investigation by Los Angeles police in connection with a child pornography case.
The pair separated after two years of marriage when Sia filed for divorce in March 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.

This is Sia’s second divorce. Previously, she separated from Erik Lang in 2016 after more than two years of marriage.
