The issue involving social media influencer, Cik Epal, and the wife of her ex-husband, Emira Delyati Dewi, is heating up as both sides reveal their own versions regarding the assault incident at Jofliam’s house.
Through a post on Instagram, Cik Epal claimed that she was scratched and injured around her eye by Dewi when she went to the couple’s house to collect her personal belongings.
“This vicious woman (Dewi) scratched and injured my eye. This is the homewrecking couple who messed with my stuff,” she said.
In the same post, Cik Epal also shared a short video showing herself speaking firmly while requesting her belongings, before Dewi was seen quickly shutting the door. Jofliam was also seen in the video instructing his wife to close the door immediately.
It is understood that the house was the residence once shared by Cik Epal and Jofliam when they were still married.
Not staying silent, Dewi later came forward to explain the actual situation. According to her, Cik Epal and her parents were welcomed warmly, and all of Cik Epal’s belongings had been placed neatly in a special area without disturbance.
“Munirah (Cik Epal) was calmly packing up the kitchen items, everything was peaceful,” Dewi said.
However, the situation reportedly escalated when Cik Epal violated the agreement by going up to the first floor, when she was only allowed to stay on the ground floor.
“As soon as Munirah ran up to the first floor, I chased after her to remind her. Munirah then threw house decorations and started screaming,” she added.
Dewi claimed she had to defend herself after a scuffle broke out. She also alleged that she suffered scratches and wounds on her face and nose from being pulled by the hair and scratched.
“The video posted by Munirah was after the fight happened. My aurat (modesty) was exposed, which is why I shut the door,” she explained.
According to Dewi, a police report was lodged, and she is leaving the matter to the authorities for further investigation.
In another development, Cik Epal revealed that she had brought two ‘bodyguards’ to assist her in retrieving her belongings, but Jofliam did not allow the bodyguards or the moving crew to enter the house.
“Only my parents and I were allowed to go in,” she said.
Adding to her frustration, Cik Epal claimed that her ex-husband arranged for a Lalamove service to transport her items but insisted she pay for the delivery charges herself.
“He eagerly booked Lalamove to move my things out. Then they asked me to pay the fee — so stingy,” she added.
As a gesture of appreciation, Cik Epal thanked her friend, influencer Anas Zahrin, for helping her by arranging the ‘bodyguards’.
For the record, Cik Epal and Jofliam officially divorced on 9 October last year. They have two children together, Han and Yuki. Jofliam then married Dewi on 5 April. – BOOM!
