South Korean actor and singer Cha Eun-woo once again caught fans’ attention with a unique approach to promoting his upcoming mini album, ELSE.

This time, his phone number was officially shared, allowing fans to “call” him though the rest, perhaps, only exists in imagination.
“Call me now, before the sound fades away,” read the promotional message.

However, some fans questioned how someone currently listed for military service could release an album.

Many expressed disappointment, claiming the marketing stunt was misleading and gave false hope to those who believed they were calling Eun-woo’s actual number and might get a chance to speak to him.
“This kind of viral marketing will definitely draw criticism,” commented one netizen.

Although Cha Eun-woo began his mandatory military service in July, he had prepared various projects in advance for fans, including his upcoming film First Ride and the ELSE mini album, scheduled for release on November 21. —Boom!
