Celine Evangelista Grateful To Perform Umrah, Admits Feeling Small Before Allah

Famous Indonesian actress and celebrity, Celine Evangelista shared her experience while performing Umrah last January.

In a social media post, Celine, who is a convert to Islam, expressed her overwhelming emotions and humility while in the Holy Land.

“Sometimes I feel unworthy and ashamed before Allah because of how many sins and mistakes I’ve made as His servant,” Celine said with deep reflection.

She also felt that there are many other servants of Allah who have known the religion longer and have stronger faith than her.

“Maybe the prayers of those who are more faithful to Allah are heard and answered more,” she added.

Even so, Celine remains thankful for being given the chance to help other Muslims perform Umrah in the Holy Land.

“I’m grateful to be a bridge in bringing the followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW to visit his resting place,” she said with heartfelt gratitude.

She added that she was also touched to see pilgrims who, for the first time, got the chance to prostrate on the holiest ground in Islam.

Celine’s post received various reactions from netizens who offered support and prayed for her to stay steadfast in her faith.
