BTS member, V once again proved his global influence by stealing the spotlight in the United States after throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball (MLB) game.
On August 26 (KST), V appeared at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to kick off the match between the LA Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds.

Wearing a Dodgers jersey, V was greeted with roaring cheers from the crowd before delivering a stylish pitch while BTS’s MIC Drop echoed throughout the stadium.
Even more attention-grabbing, V’s presence had a massive impact on ticket sales.
The popular ticket-selling platform StubHub reported a surge of over five times the usual sales after the announcement that V would be the first-pitch thrower.
In fact, their system briefly experienced disruptions due to an extraordinary influx of traffic from fans.
This phenomenon not only brought together K-pop fans and sports enthusiasts but also reaffirmed V’s powerful global brand.

Beyond music, the South Korean star is now a face for luxury fashion brands, global beverage campaigns, and various premium lifestyle brands.
Meanwhile, BTS is planning to reunite as a full group in the spring of 2026, followed by a large-scale world tour. – BOOM!
