After being apart for so long, two comedians, Mamat (Mohd Noor Murad) and Shuib (Shahmira Muhamad), finally reunited – not just on the entertainment stage, but this time as guests of Allah in the Holy Land.
This touching moment was shared by Mamat, 40, himself through a post on his Instagram.
“Separated only for a while so we could understand the meaning of friendship. Never expected to worship together here, carrying a million stories,” wrote Mamat, full of emotion.
According to Mamat, the separation that once happened between them turned out to bring a huge lesson.
“May our other friends become special guests here one day. Amen,” he added.
In the comment section, Shuib, 41, also expressed his gratitude for performing the umrah with his old friend.
“Our story is extraordinary, Allah wrote it so we’d understand what friendship means. May we stay friends till heaven, Mat,” wrote Shuib.
Most fans and netizens were moved seeing their bond rekindled, praying for their friendship to last forever.
For the record, Mamat and Shuib are members of the comedy group Sepah, which also includes Jep Sepahtu.
They once rose to fame through shows like Raja Lawak and Maharaja Lawak before pursuing their own paths in the entertainment world. – BOOM!
