Singer Billie Eilish shed tears as she kicked off her first world tour without her beloved brother and collaborator, Finneas O’Connell.

The revelation came in the teaser for her concert film Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), released on December 10.
The 23-year-old artist shared a touching moment after receiving a note from O’Connell before beginning her 106-show tour in September 2024.
“For almost seven years, I’ve toured the world with you. No one can do what you do. Good luck tonight—but you don’t need it. Can’t wait to see you later. Love, Pinch,” wrote O’Connell, bringing Billie to tears.

The trailer also features a surprising moment when the 28-year-old appeared on stage at Co-op Live, Manchester. Billie immediately left the keyboard to embrace her brother with a big smile. She reassured fans that she will always stand strong for him.

Previously, O’Connell had always accompanied Billie on stage, but this year he was busy with his solo album For Cryin’ Out Loud! and projects with Ashe, The Favors.

The film, co-directed by Billie and renowned filmmaker James Cameron, showcases hits like The Greatest, Bury a Friend, and Bad Guy, along with behind-the-scenes moments, including Billie interacting with her fans.
Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) will hit cinemas on March 20, 2026. -Boom!
