Singer and leader of BIGBANG, G-Dragon, surprised fans when he announced that the group will return to the music stage in 2026 in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of their debut.

The announcement was made during his first solo fan meeting at the KSPO Dome in Seoul recently, which drew thousands of fans from various generations.
“BIGBANG will make a 20th anniversary comeback this year. As a member and a fan, I am also really looking forward to it.
“I believe the other members feel the same way,” he was quoted as saying by Allkpop.

He also used the phrase “flower road,” referring to one of the group’s popular songs, while inviting fans to take a short rest before the long-awaited comeback.

The three-day fan meeting attracted approximately 40,000 fans, ranging from teenagers who have only recently started following G-Dragon to long-time supporters who grew up with BIGBANG during their golden era.

G-Dragon said the atmosphere of the gathering felt like a warm family reunion filled with nostalgia.
“I wanted to hold a gathering like a family reunion for those who could not join the tour. It felt like a dream come true, and it was even more enjoyable because we were together. I love you,” he said.

Last month, he had previously hinted at a comeback at several events, including when he received the Digital Song of the Year award at the Golden Disc Awards in Taipei together with Taeyang and Daesung. – BOOM!
