After months of hot speculation, Ben Affleck finally spoke about his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. In an interview with GQ, the famous actor and director stressed that there was no big drama behind their split.
“No scandal, no soap opera, no conspiracy,” said Affleck.
“The truth is, if someone asks ‘What happened?’ the answer isn’t that simple. It’s just a story about two people trying to figure out life and their relationship.”
Affleck also added that he’s not keen to share more details because he feels it’s too personal.
Even though their marriage didn’t last long, Affleck insisted that he still respects his ex-wife.
“I have nothing but respect for her. I know many want to find the main reason, but honestly, the reality is way more normal than people think.”
For the record, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were in a relationship in the early 2000s and nearly got married before breaking up.
However, they rekindled their romance in 2021, got married in 2022, but eventually divorced in August 2024. – BOOM!
