Rock band BARBARIK is set to electrify Zepp Kuala Lumpur on June 28, 2025, with their BARBARIK PENTAS PELURU COKELAT concert, starting at 8:30 pm!
Although only formed three years ago, BARBARIK — made up of Muss (vocals), JoBranko (guitar), Rozaimi (bass), and Ainol (drums) has already successfully held four major concerts before this.
However, this time is extra special because, for the first time, they’ll be performing songs from their debut album, Peluru Cokelat.
“Every concert has a surprise element. We promise this concert will test your adrenaline from start to finish!” said JoBranko.
The Peluru Cokelat album, launched on November 9, brings the spirit of 80s and 90s rock, proving BARBARIK’s seriousness in the music industry.
“Our goal in producing this album was to show we’re serious as a band, not just a temporary project,” said JoBranko.
Interestingly, the album was recorded in four formats: CD, vinyl, USB card, and digital distribution — a bold move in the era of music streaming.
“It’s crazy work, but the demand for physical albums is huge!” added JoBranko.
The album features seven songs, including Peluru Cokelat, composed by JoBranko with lyrics by Nasir Jani, and a special touch from guest musicians Karl Cromok and Adi Yamin.
