Actress Ayesha Khan recently expressed concern over the misuse of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, particularly involving celebrity images and videos that have been altered without consent.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ayesha revealed that she had come across several AI-manipulated images depicting herself in situations that never occurred.
“Seeing those altered images really made me feel disturbed,” Ayesha said, as quoted by Hindustan Times.
Expressing her concern over the misuse of AI, Ayesha said it has become a dangerous norm.
“There was a video created using AI that appeared to show me hugging someone, but it never happened in my life,” she added.
She emphasised that many social media users today find it difficult to distinguish between genuine content and AI-generated material. – BOOM!
