Avoiding Hair Damage, Inul Daratista Chooses To Wear Wigs

The appearance of famous dangdut singer Inul Daratista, who often sports various hairstyles, has caught the attention of netizens. Turns out, they’re all wigs.

According to Inul, 46, she feels more comfortable wearing wigs to protect the health of her real hair.

“I have to take care of my hair; my hair isn’t that great. If I keep straightening it, it’ll get damaged like coconut husk,” she told Detik Hot.

For that reason, she opts to wear wigs as a protective measure and to make styling easier.

Not just one or two, Inul actually owns a wide collection of wigs and isn’t stingy about sharing them with others.

“I have lots of wigs; some I give away to people when I don’t want to use them anymore. I even gave a box of wigs to a friend in Malaysia. Those wigs were still pretty and in good condition,” she said.

Even so, Inul isn’t too extravagant when it comes to buying new wigs.

“Wigs are indeed my indulgence, but I don’t waste money buying overly expensive ones. It all depends on the type,” she added.
