Pregnancy should be the most beautiful moment for a mother, but for Aurel Hermansyah, the experience left a deep scar. The wife of Atta Halilintar admitted she’s traumatized about getting pregnant again after receiving all sorts of criticism about her physical changes from netizens.
While attending the Breastfeeding Fest 2025 Study Session in South Jakarta on March 8, Aurel revealed that the negative comments she received throughout her pregnancy had a huge impact on her mental health.
“I was often called fat, told I looked old… even though I was focused on breastfeeding my child and couldn’t diet yet,” said Aurel, who felt deeply stressed by the netizens’ remarks.
Even more heartbreaking, the pressure made her consider not getting pregnant again in the future.

“Because of those really hurtful words, I started thinking, maybe I don’t want to get pregnant again,” she said with a sad tone.
During the session, Aurel asked for advice from Ustaz Hilman Fauzi on how to deal with the trauma caused by netizen criticism. Ustaz Hilman advised Aurel to cut back on social media use so she could focus on her own happiness.
“Mom Aurel needs to take a break from social media for a while so she’s not affected by negative comments and can stay confident as a mother,” said Ustaz Hilman.
Despite experiencing deep trauma, Aurel is now trying to rise above it and regain her confidence.
With support from her family and the advice she received, she hopes to overcome her fears and focus on happiness with her child and husband. – BOOM!
