An emotional scene at KLIA turned tense last night when actress and humanitarian activist Ardell Aryana suddenly collapsed while carrying her young child upon returning from the Global Sumud Flotilla mission. Fortunately, her husband, Nadzmi Adhwa, quickly sought help, and Ardell was reported to be in stable condition after receiving brief medical treatment.
Ardell, along with 22 other Malaysian activists — including celebrities Zizi Kirana, Heliza Helmi, PU Rahmat, and Farah Lee — was warmly welcomed home by family members and supporters who had been waiting since the afternoon. The group had just been released after being detained by Israeli forces at the Ashdod port on October 2.
Despite facing harrowing experiences, their return is seen as a symbol of Malaysians’ courage and unwavering solidarity with Palestine. Chants of “Allahuakbar” and “Free Palestine” echoed throughout the arrival hall, turning the night into a deeply moving moment of gratitude and unity in the spirit of humanitarian struggle.
