The film Anaconda has grossed over US$100 million (RM407 million) at cinemas worldwide since its release on Christmas Day last year.

Directed by Tom Gormican and starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, the film earned US$101.6 million (RM413.2 million), with US$50.4 million (RM205 million) from the United States and US$51.2 million (RM208 million) from international markets.
Anaconda is a reimagining of the classic 1997 snake horror film that starred Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, and Jonathan Hyde.

In this – not a reboot – Black and Rudd play Doug and Griff, two lifelong friends who have always dreamed of remaking their favorite film of all time.

When a midlife crisis finally pushes them to make it happen, they travel deep into the Amazon to start filming.
However, their plans go awry when a giant creature appears in the real world, turning their comedic adventure into a dangerous situation.

Alongside Black and Rudd, Anaconda also features Steve Zahn, Ice Cube, and Thandiwe Newton. –Boom!
