The name of Paskal actor, Ammar Alfian is back in the spotlight after a woman came forward claiming she was a victim of physical violence by the muscular actor, who is also her ex-boyfriend.
Following the revelation, Ammar’s Instagram was ‘attacked’ by netizens expressing anger and disappointment over his actions.
“Real gangsters don’t hit women, bro! No matter your excuse, you can’t hit a woman. Only cowards hit women,” one netizen firmly stated.
Not stopping at condemnation, many social media users also urged a boycott of Ammar’s films and dramas as a form of protest against his actions.
It’s understood that the woman filed a police report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) Police Station, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday. The incident allegedly took place at a condominium in the Damansara area.
What’s more shocking, this isn’t the first time Ammar’s name has been linked to allegations of assaulting a woman.
In July last year, he was implicated in a similar case when a woman claimed she was beaten by a muscular actor – and many speculated it referred to him based on the clues provided.
