Talented singer and actress, Amira Othman, is back with a new single titled “Bila Nak Kahwin?”, produced by Sony Music Malaysia in collaboration with Emiera Othman Ventures. The song was created with two renowned composers, Iqie Hugh and Omar K, with Amira herself contributing to the lyrics.
According to Amira, the inspiration for this song came from a question she is frequently asked as a public figure.
“Questions like ‘When are you getting married?’ are very relatable. I used it as inspiration to deliver a positive message to the audience,” Amira explained.
Featuring modern pop elements with a touch of classic sounds like the accordion, the song offers a fresh twist while maintaining her unique musical identity.
“I tried to blend a fresh touch with nostalgic elements, similar to my songs ‘Hati Hati’ and ‘Jaga Jaga’,” she added.
The recording process for the song took only three to four hours, making it a fast but meaningful experience. Meanwhile, the music video (MV) portrays real-life situations, especially those commonly experienced at weddings.
“That million-dollar question is something we always hear, and this MV tries to reflect real life,” she said.
Amira hopes that this song will not only be well-received in Malaysia but also gain international recognition and go viral on social media platforms like TikTok.
The single “Bila Nak Kahwin?” is now available on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. – BOOM!
