Actor Alqal Sahar claimed he was raped multiple times by a family member, who is also a director, when he was a child.

Swearing in the name of Allah, the actor said he had to remain silent to support his impoverished family until he was 17 years old.
He posted on Threads revealing his childhood trauma from sexual abuse, as he could no longer bear carrying such a heavy secret.

He said the dark experience left deep trauma that continues to haunt him into adulthood, as well as feelings of resentment.
“I looked beautiful as a child acting here and there, but the truth is my resentment is still etched in my mind.
“Which is more important: shame or the dark mark I carried until I grew up? I stayed silent to protect the family bond. The truth is, I still resent that monster because he has not changed.
“I swear in Allah’s name, this is true,” he said.
According to Alqal, he ran away from home because he could not endure being forced into disgusting acts.

He warned children who wish to enter the entertainment industry as actors to be careful of the director involved.
“I am speaking out because I don’t want today’s child actors to experience the disgusting things I went through, and I can’t keep this secret forever.
“This monster continues happily hunting for victims. I hope what I’m doing goes viral so all of Malaysia knows,” said the actor, known for the drama Diari Ramadhan Rafique. -BOOM!
