Singer Aisha Retno couldn’t hide her emotions after having the chance to meet international stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at the premiere of Wicked: For Good at Universal Studios Singapore yesterday.
Representing Malaysia, Aisha expressed her gratitude and pride over the experience, calling it a historic moment for her.
“I’m so moved to represent Malaysia at the premiere of Wicked. I love you, Ari, I love you, Cynthia. I have truly changed for the better because of these two incredible women. All praise to Allah the Almighty. I’ve been a long-time fan of both of them. Thank you @uipmalaysia for this golden opportunity. Malaysia’s Glinda dubber is here!” she said on Instagram.
In the video she shared, Aisha can be seen singing a soundtrack from Wicked together with Ariana and Cynthia.
The most touching moment was when Aisha presented batik cloth to both artists as a token of appreciation from Malaysia.

Aisha was previously selected as the voice actor for the character Glinda in the Malay-dubbed version of the film Wicked. —Boom!
