Actress Datin Rebecca Nur Al Islam chose to begin a new chapter in her life by performing umrah less than a month after announcing her divorce.
Rebecca, 39, shared in an InstaStory yesterday that she is now on her way to the Holy Land, while also confirming she has completed her idah period.
“Assalamualaikum everyone. Pray for me, I’m on a flight to the House of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
All I can say is, yes, I’ve completed my idah,” she wrote.
In the same post, the Embun actress also expressed hope that all her affairs in Mecca would be made easy.
“Pray for my safety and that Allah SWT eases all my affairs. Keep praying for me. May Allah SWT always reward the kindness of your prayers, amen,” she added.
Rebecca also apologized for not being able to respond to the thousands of messages and DMs she has received recently.
“I apologize to the over 1,000 WhatsApp messages and many DMs I couldn’t reply to. Thank you for caring about me, insha-Allah I’m okay,” she said.
Based on observations, Rebecca arrived in the Holy Land early this morning.
Previously, Rebecca shocked many with a post hinting that her marriage to lawyer Datuk Nur Azman Sulaiman had ended.
The couple, married since 2011, were blessed with six children and an adopted son, Nor Adam Daniel, 16.
Rebecca’s departure to Mecca after her idah period has been seen by many as a serene step toward starting a new chapter in her life. – BOOM!
