Singer Adira’s marital issues resurfaced after her former husband, Datuk Red, was alleged to have reconciled with her during the iddah period.
The application for verification of reconciliation was reportedly filed at the Gombak Barat Syariah Court two days ago. Datuk Red, whose real name is Datuk Seri Adnan Abu, is believed to have submitted the application, with the case mention scheduled for mid-January 2026.
However, when asked about the matter, Adira admitted she was shocked upon learning of the claim.
“Honestly, this is a long story. I have only just received this information, which I previously knew nothing about, and it happened very suddenly,” she was quoted as saying by Mstar.
Adira also said it was difficult for her to elaborate further as the case is still ongoing, stressing that the reconciliation verification application was not filed by her.
“I’m in a difficult position to explain because the story is long and still in process. The reconciliation case file did not come from my side,” she said.
Adira hopes the issue can be resolved quickly as she is unable to cope with prolonged pressure and conflict in her personal life.
“I hope all of this can be settled soon because I can no longer handle dramas like this,” she said.
At the same time, Adira stressed that there are no longer any special feelings between them, adding that Datuk Red is now only the father of her child. —Boom!
