After 22 years of waiting, actress and entrepreneur Abby Abadi has finally received the delayed mahr payment from her ex-husband, Norman Hakim.
Abby, whose full name is Arbaiyah Abdul Manan, shared the news herself on TikTok, marking the end of a long-standing issue since their separation.

She expressed gratitude that the matter was resolved smoothly without the involvement of Norman’s current wife, Memey Suhaiza, or her own husband, Muhammad Faizal Zakaria.
“With peace, I share that this issue has been settled after 22 years. Thank you, Norman, for paying when you were able,” she wrote on TikTok.
Although the amount of the mahr was not disclosed, Abby described the resolution as a positive step. However, she noted that other claims, such as support for food, living, and accommodation, remain unsettled.
For the record, Abby and Norman married in 2002, divorced in 2009, and share three children. Abby later married Faizal, while Norman married Memey in 2011.
