The Plenary Theatre at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) recently bore witness to a night full of love and harmony when Atilia Haron shared the stage with her mother, Malaysia’s vocal legend Salamiah Hassan, through the Gelombang Bahagiaku Concert.
Organized by Mujik Wand Production, the concert achieved remarkable success with sold-out tickets and an audience captivated from start to finish.

For Atilia, it was a dream come true.
She said that since childhood, her aspiration was to be like her mother, and now having the chance to stand on the same stage in front of a full audience was surreal.
She noted that the project was not easy as it began without sponsors, but the support of friends and family made the night an unforgettable moment.
“Since I was little, I wanted to be like Mama.
To share the stage with her, in front of a full audience… it’s surreal.
This project wasn’t easy because we started without sponsors, but thanks to the support of friends and family, it became a night I’ll never forget,” Atilia said, deeply moved.
Salamiah, meanwhile, described singing with her daughter as the most precious gift in her over 55-year artistic journey.
She expressed gratitude and hoped to continue sharing the stage with Atilia in the future.
“Singing with my daughter throughout this concert is the most beautiful gift.
I’m happy, so grateful, and I hope we can do more concerts together in the future,” she expressed wholeheartedly.
Their performance featured a medley of songs across various genres, from No Fruits For Today, Rekah, Bahagiaku, Salah Sangka, to Gelombang.
The audience was also entertained by collaborations with MonoloQue, Mimifly, Jason Voo, and Elvira Arul, adding vibrant colors to the concert.
Thunderous cheers closed the night when the mother and daughter performed their first-ever duet, Age Is Just The Number, before electrifying the hall with the classic Empat Dara alongside guest artists.
The Gelombang Bahagiaku Concert was not just a performance but also a celebration of musical heritage and love across generations. – BOOM!
