Singer Shiha Zikir expressed her disappointment over the attitude of certain individuals whom she described as increasingly lacking manners in their communication.
According to Shiha, whose real name is Nurshiha Mohd. Zikir, the incident occurred when she received a message from someone asking about her availability on a specific date.
“Usually, people would directly state the purpose of the invitation, like for a gala night at a specific location.
But this time, when I asked ‘what’s up?’, they replied, ‘To perform, obviously. You think I’d ask you to watch me sell stuff?’,” she said via Threads.
Shiha admitted that due to the rude communication style, she decided to decline the invitation.
“Next time, just state it’s for a gala or event. Even then, reply politely.
That kind of attitude made me immediately say I’m not free,” she said.
Shiha added that, despite providing her manager’s number for official matters, the individual still contacted her personally.
“I’m not trying to be difficult, I just don’t want to deal with such behavior.
I choose to focus on positive things only,” she explained.
