Popular actor and host, Awal Ashaari expressed his heartfelt emotions and gratitude as many netizens stepped forward to help save his beloved cat, Luna, who was previously reported to be in critical condition due to significant blood loss.
Through a post on Instagram Stories, Awal had earlier made an open plea for cat owners in the Klang Valley to come forward with their pets to donate blood for Luna.
“Assalamualaikum, our cat Luna is in critical condition, has lost a lot of blood, and urgently needs a suitable (cat) blood donor,” wrote Awal.
In the effort to save Luna’s life, Awal also announced that they would fully cover the treatment and examination costs for the donor cats.
“We deeply appreciate cat owners living nearby who are willing to help by bringing your pets to Saint Angel Animal Medical Center, Puchong.
Just bring your cat to the hospital, mention Luna’s name, and all costs will be covered by us,” he explained.
In the latest update, Awal expressed immense gratitude to everyone who came forward to help.
According to him, he was truly touched when many people showed up at the veterinary clinic with their cats to offer assistance.
“I never expected so many would be willing to help. I’m so touched and grateful.
At a time when I was completely lost and desperate, so many came forward to lend a hand,” he said.
According to Awal, the veterinarian treating Luna successfully identified two cats suitable to donate blood to Luna.
He also hoped that the public would continue to pray for Luna’s recovery, describing the help received as a great blessing in his life.
“Thank you all for your prayers and swift actions.
May Allah reward all your kindness,” Awal expressed further.
