Two internationally renowned singers, Nicki Minaj and SZA, sparked a commotion on the X platform after trading sharp-witted remarks that clearly caught the attention of many.
It all started when SZA posted about the Mercury retrograde phenomenon, advising people not to easily fall for things.
“Mercury retrograde.. don’t take the bait, silly goose,” wrote SZA.
However, Nicki Minaj responded to the statement with biting sarcasm.
“Liar, liar, pants on fire. Sounding like a dead dog,” replied Nicki Minaj.
In the same post, Nicki Minaj used the hashtags #JusticeForDemoree and #DepositionPerez, believed to refer to previous viral allegations involving the daughter of ROC Nation’s CEO, Desirae Perez, who was accused of being abusive toward her daughter.
SZA then fired back at Nicki Minaj’s statement, emphasizing that she didn’t care at all about the issues Minaj was trying to bring up.
“I don’t give a f*ck about none of that weird sht you’re popping,” replied SZA.
Speculation arose that the feud stemmed from Minaj’s outspoken criticism of Desirae Perez, while SZA’s initial post appeared to subtly shade Minaj.
