Bella Astillah’s presence in the art world is gaining more attention as the singer received a special invitation that she will surely never forget for the rest of her life.
Bella, whose full name is Dayang Ara Nabellah Awang Astillah, 31, was shocked when she was invited to perform alongside the wife of the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd. Ali, at the Nota Percaya event, set to take place on August 23.
Sharing her excitement, Bella admitted that this is a moment that’s hard to believe.
According to Bella, the invitation came last month, and it was truly a huge surprise for her.
“I still feel like it’s a dream come true.
Last month, my mother received a phone call about the invitation for me to perform with Tun Siti Hasmah.
At first, I didn’t believe it until I saw the message myself and spoke with the person involved,” said Bella in an Instagram post shared yesterday.
However, the surprises didn’t end there. Bella was also fortunate to have the opportunity to rehearse with Tun Siti Hasmah, playing musical instruments together.
“I got a bit emotional earlier, they are just too kind, sweet, and sincere.

Two of Malaysia’s beloved gems,” said Bella, touched by the warm hospitality of this iconic couple.
In a video shared by Bella, Tun Siti Hasmah can be seen playing the violin with full focus, while Bella strums the guitar.
