The iconic character, Brian O’Conner might make a comeback in the 11th and final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, according to lead actor Vin Diesel.
While attending Fuel Fest in Pomona, California, organized by the late Paul Walker’s brother, Cody Walker, Vin Diesel shared the latest updates with fans.
“I was just with Universal Studios yesterday…
They asked me, ‘Vin, can we make the final Fast & Furious film in April 2027?’” Diesel shared.
Diesel then laid out three conditions to the studio.
“First, we go back to L.A.
Second, we return to car culture, which is street racing.
Third, Dom and Brian must reunite.
That’s what you’ll get in this finale,” he explained.
This is expected to stir emotions among fans worldwide.
For context, Paul Walker tragically passed away in a car accident in November 2013 while filming for Fast & Furious 7 was still underway.
His character was honored with a combination of CGI and assistance from his two brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, creating one of the most heartfelt farewell scenes between Brian and Dom in the franchise’s history.
Following Fast X, which premiered in May 2023 and featured a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Michelle Rodriguez, fans are now gearing up for the most epic farewell in the history of this franchise. – BOOM!
