Although Katy Perry’s latest album, titled 143, has been praised as a symbol of love and self-empowerment, one song from the album has sparked various fan speculations, namely Truth.
The song, which initially received little attention, is now gaining traction after news of Perry’s split with Orlando Bloom spread.

Its emotional and disappointed lyrics paint a clear picture of possible betrayal or an emotional gap in their relationship.
Among the lyrics that raised questions are:
“I wanna know the truth / Even if it hurts me,”
“My intuition’s tellin’ me things ain’t right.”
The song’s dark and painful tone is seen as a reflection of Perry’s inner turmoil, contrasting with the album’s other more positive and upbeat tracks.
After the announcement of their split, following six years together and four years engaged, the song was revisited by fans with a different perspective.
“Is this song about Orlando?” wrote one netizen.
Although the couple reportedly parted on good terms, sources claim that career pressures and lifestyle differences were the main reasons.

Perry, now focused on her tour and their daughter, Daisy, was seen without her wedding ring while in Australia. Bloom, meanwhile, is filming at a different location.
The album 143, though not a major commercial success, is considered by critics as Perry’s emotional evolution.
The song Truth is now regarded as the most honest and heartfelt track in the album. – BOOM!
