Former The Boyz member, Ju Hak Nyeon has come forward to defend himself after being linked to allegations of engaging in prostitution activities while in Tokyo with former adult film actress, Asuka Kirara.
Through a statement uploaded on his social media on June 20, Ju Hak Nyeon denied the serious accusations and claimed that his agency, One Hundred, deliberately fabricated reasons to terminate his contract.
“If it’s true that I was involved in prostitution, please provide evidence now,” he stated firmly.
According to him, he never agreed to leave the group or voluntarily terminate his contract.
“The company tried to mislead the public by claiming my contract was terminated due to a major offense, which is not true.”
Ju also revealed that the company demanded a compensation payment of 2 billion KRW (over RM6 million), even though he did not agree to the contract termination.
“I’m very scared, but if I give in now, this world will become a place where the weak are continuously trampled despite being innocent.”
He also expressed his intention to take the matter to court, including pursuing legal action against media outlets he believes have spread baseless reports.
“I will fight to the end to clear my name.”
The controversy arose after a video showing Ju Hak Nyeon at an event with Asuka Kirara went viral.
Following this, a report was filed at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul to investigate the possibility of his involvement in immoral activities abroad. – BOOM!
