Justin Baldoni, the actor and director known for Jane the Virgin and the film It Ends With Us, is now facing a major challenge in his life involving a marital crisis and a lawsuit filed by his co-star, Blake Lively.
According to a PEOPLE report, Justin and his wife, Emily Baldoni, are going through a difficult phase in their marriage. However, the couple, who have been married since 2013, remain strong together and continue to support each other.
“This lawsuit drama has indeed put pressure on both of them, but their marriage is still solid, and in fact, they’re growing closer,” a family friend told the outlet.
Justin is reportedly spending more time with his family and relying on his faith to stay resilient. He is also said to be “leaning on a small group of loyal friends” to navigate this ordeal.
In developments regarding the case, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin and several others in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and retaliatory actions.
Justin has denied all allegations and has filed a countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others, claiming they engaged in extortion and defamation.
