Former Puteri Indonesia 2014, Elvira Devinamira, continues to make strides in the international acting scene, dazzling on the red carpet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to represent her latest film, Cookster: The Darkest Days.
However, Elvira’s presence wasn’t just to promote the film but to carry Indonesia’s name onto the global stage.

“My presence at Cannes is an honor,
not only as an actress but also as a representative of Indonesia in the world of cinema,” she said in a media statement.
Even more proudly, Elvira made history as the first Indonesian actress nominated for Best Actress (Fiction) at the Unrestricted View Film Festival (UVFF) 2025.
Meanwhile, her film was also shortlisted for Best Indie Film at the Cannes Film Awards 2025.

“I want to bring this pride to my country and show that Indonesian talent can shine on the international stage,” she added.
Elvira’s Cannes debut also turned heads as she wore an exclusive gown designed by local designer Stella Lanuardy, showcasing elegance and elements of Indonesian cultural aesthetics to the world.
The official results for the Cannes Film Awards will be announced on June 14, 2025, and all of Indonesia is now eagerly awaiting Elvira’s moment of glory. – BOOM!
