Amazon MGM Studios has finally announced that Amy Pascal (producer of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films) and David Heyman (producer of all eight Harry Potter movies) will lead the production of the next James Bond film.
This is the first Bond film since Amazon MGM Studios gained full creative control of the iconic spy franchise.
Head of Amazon MGM Studios films, Courtenay Valenti, described them as two of the most experienced, respected, and successful film producers in the industry.
In a joint statement, Pascal and Heyman said:
“James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in cinema history. We feel deeply humbled to carry on the legacy of Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who have created so many amazing films.
We’re excited to keep the spirit of Bond alive in his next adventure.”
Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson announced their exit from the franchise last February after continuing the legacy started in 1962 by Albert “Cubby” Broccoli.
Meanwhile, Amazon and these two amazing producers will now decide who will take on the role of James Bond next after Daniel Craig ended his run in No Time to Die four years ago.
Names like James Norton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Theo James are now being talked about and are among the top favorites.
Who will be the new Bond? Let’s wait and see together. – BOOM!
