The marriage between actor and director Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle ended with a single talak divorce pronouncement at the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Syariah Court on Monday.
Even though they’ve chosen to part ways, both agreed to work together to raise their two children, Muhammad (11) and Nur Aurora (9).
“About the kids, there’s no issue. As agreed, Diana will take care of them,” said Farid, 43, quoted from an mStar report.
Diana, meanwhile, stressed that she won’t burden the kids with their divorce issues.
“Things are already tough, so we’re trying to make it easy for them. No matter what happens, the kids need their parents.
“I’m not planning to keep the kids to myself and make things hard for my ex-husband either. Farid has no restrictions from meeting or contacting the kids anytime,” Diana said calmly.
Commenting on their relationship after the split, both admitted that all conflicts have been resolved.
“Now it’s settled, and we’re trying to improve our relationship,” explained Diana.
Farid chipped in with a smile, “Now we’re artist buddies.”
For the record, this is the second time Farid has pronounced talak one on Diana. They previously divorced on August 10, 2023, before reconciling after 21 days. But on November 4 last year, Diana filed for divorce again.
The couple tied the knot on November 3, 2012, and were blessed with two children who remain their main focus even though their marriage has ended. – BOOM!
