George Clooney has been crowned the highest-paid actor in Broadway history, surpassing his Ticket to Paradise co-star, Julia Roberts.
The 63-year-old star is reportedly earning a whopping $300,000 (RM1.4 million) a week for his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck.
According to a source from Radar Online, Clooney isn’t just acting in this production – he also wrote the script.
“George Clooney got an incredibly huge offer. Not only is he acting, but he also wrote the script, so he’s making money from multiple streams,” the source said.

Even more shocking, Clooney is also getting a percentage of the production’s profits, meaning his earnings could skyrocket beyond his base pay.
“This deal isn’t just about acting fees. He’s also getting a share of the profits, making him the highest-paid actor in Broadway history,” said another source.
The Good Night, and Good Luck show is set to officially open on April 3, 2025, and ticket prices are already listed as high as $677 (RM3,200) for a single seat!
