John Abraham Admits To Being An Atheist, Considers Sports As His Religion

Bollywood actor, John Abraham has openly declared himself an atheist and considers some religious traditions to be illogical.

However, the Pathaan star emphasized that his views do not mean he rejects the beliefs of others. Instead, he encourages society to use reason in understanding religion.

“For me, sports are the religion in my life,” he said.

John believes that sports are not just physical activities but also shape discipline and a healthy lifestyle.

“I’m not trying to please everyone. I do this for myself and for those who understand the value of discipline and self-care,” he added.

Despite being an atheist, the 51-year-old actor still believes that temples and religious sites should be preserved and respected.

For over three decades, John has maintained a healthy lifestyle and has never skipped his gym routine.

“I don’t do this out of narcissism. I believe that the body should be cared for with discipline, much like someone’s religious beliefs,” he said. – BOOM!
