Lovely actress, Anna Jobling has shared her thoughts on the controversy involving influencers who allegedly created fake content about their friend going missing in Indonesia recently.
Anna, whose full name is Anna Ellisa Gustin Jobling Abdul Rahman, emphasized that she was not directly affected by the issue but advised against such incidents happening again.
“Honestly, I don’t feel like I’ve been impacted by this issue, but I can only offer advice. I’m sure they will learn from their mistakes, insya-Allah,” she said during a press conference for the Gempak Most Wanted Award 2024 (GMWA24) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Melur Untuk Firdaus actress admitted that breaking into the entertainment industry in a neighboring country is not easy. Therefore, she advised those who get the opportunity to uphold Malaysia’s image and avoid creating meaningless content.
“Actually, it’s very difficult to make it in Indonesia, so if you get the chance, hold onto it tightly. Take care of yourself, protect Malaysia’s name as best as possible, and don’t take advantage of the situation. We need to take care of ourselves not just there but here as well. If you have fans, treat them well,” she added.
Previously, an influencer was found safe after being reported missing in a forest in Bandung, Indonesia. However, controversy arose when Indonesian police confirmed that the incident was entirely staged and fabricated, sparking backlash from netizens. – BOOM!
