Blackpink member Rosé has revealed that she once disguised herself, including dressing as an elderly woman, to keep her romantic relationship at the time a secret from the paparazzi.
The confession was made during Rosé’s appearance on the popular American podcast, Call Her Daddy, on January 28.
In a conversation with host Alex Cooper, Rosé admitted she was willing to do anything to avoid being photographed with her ex-boyfriend while they were on dates.
“I really tried everything. I was always paranoid because I thought if we got caught, everything would be over,” she said jokingly.
Rosé shared an experience where she bought a short, curly wig before completing her disguise as a grandmother, finished with specific clothing and a handbag.
“I observed elderly women on the streets—the way they walked and dressed. Then, I would go to my boyfriend’s house looking like that,” she said.
More surprisingly, Rosé revealed that she maintained this disguise for six months, until one day she ran into an actual elderly woman wearing the exact same outfit as her.
Beyond that humorous story, Rosé also shared the emotional side of her love life.
“I have often been disappointed, but there is one person who has never let me down,” she said honestly.
Commenting on her current relationship status, Rosé admitted she is still looking for love and hopes that the public sees her as a normal human being, not just a K-pop idol – BOOM!
