Renowned South Korean actor Jo Jung-suk has decided to take a temporary break from his YouTube activities following the birth of his second daughter on January 14.

The announcement was made through a letter uploaded on the YouTube channel Cheonggyesan Daengi Records on June 18. The letter was written by Jo Jung-suk using his alter ego persona, Daengi Dad Jo Jeom-seok.
In the letter, he first expressed his appreciation to fans for their continued support of his social media content.
“Thank you for always watching and supporting my videos. Thanks to all of you, the channel has now reached 500,000 subscribers,” he said.

At the same time, Jo Jung-suk shared another piece of happy news in conjunction with the milestone.
“Another great joy has come to our family as Daengi’s younger sibling was safely born,” he added.
Following that, he announced that he would temporarily stop uploading new videos to focus fully on his family.
“At the moment, it is quite difficult to produce new content as I need to focus on taking care of my child. Therefore, I wanted to inform everyone in advance,” he explained.

He also assured fans that he would return once circumstances allow.
“I will take a short break and return as soon as possible. When I come back, I hope to share more interesting videos with different stories,” he said.
For the record, Jo Jung-suk and his wife, singer Gummy, whose real name is Park Ji-yeon, tied the knot in 2018 and are now parents to two children. -BOOM!
