K-pop legend BoA has officially ended her contract with SM Entertainment after 25 years with the agency.

According to SM Entertainment, her contract expired on December 31 last year, and BoA chose not to renew it after lengthy discussions with management.
BoA, born Kwon Bo-ah, made her debut in 2000 at just 13 years old and produced hit songs such as Atlantis Princess, Eat You Up, Hurricane Venus, and Only One, solidifying her fame across Asia.
