Actor and filmmaker George Clooney has announced that he will no longer perform on-screen kissing scenes. He said the decision was influenced by conversations with his wife, Amal Clooney.

Clooney, 64, explained that the choice came after reflecting on his age and the changes in his life since turning 60.
The decision also reflects a shift in his career preferences after more than three decades starring in romantic films alongside leading actresses.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Clooney stated that he wants to continue his career without such scenes.
“I’ve tried to follow the path Paul Newman took… ‘Alright, I’m not going to kiss women anymore,’” he said.

The actor added that discussions with Amal helped him set clearer personal boundaries while balancing his professional life and family.
Clooney is widely known for films such as Ocean’s Eleven and From Dusk Till Dawn, and has long held a reputation as one of Hollywood’s leading romantic stars.

The decision marks a new phase in his career, where he prioritises roles and narratives that do not require kissing scenes. –Boom!
