Actor Adam Corrie Lee has shared a message addressing concerns among Muslim converts who have tattoos, especially those inked before embracing Islam.

In his post, he explained that Allah forgives all past sins of a person who embraces the faith including pre-conversion tattoos.
“When someone embraces Islam, all past sins are wiped away. That includes tattoos done before their shahada,” he said.

Adam also clarified that removing tattoos is not obligatory if the procedure could harm the body, such as causing severe pain or posing infection risks.

“Islam does not burden anyone with something that endangers them,” said Adam, who embraced Islam in 2007.

He further advised converts with tattoos to wear long sleeves to avoid misunderstandings or potential slander, noting that this suggestion is meant to preserve dignity and one’s image as a Muslim. –Boom!
